Promotional Poster | Produce

For our promotional poster we agreed that the background should be the actual front cover of our album to advertise the album a little more without any additional images. Since the album name and the band name was already included on the cover we just had to add the additional information about the release of the album. Again, we used a font from DaFont to advertise where the audience would be able to find the group followed by logos of each social media website which include Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. For the release date we decided to use another font from DaFont and we wanted the release date to be at the beginning of July, in the summer. This is because a lot of popular artists release their new music in the summer and also it will create summer memories for the audience.

We then used a simple font from Photoshop to show what songs the album features. We stated that Louder (the song we are using the video) will be the new single and a previous single that we agreed on, Not My Style, would also feature. We decided that the song names should be in a brighter colour so they stand out against the main background image, and this will catch the audiences eye as it will give them a sneak peek of the track list. We then used one final font to type out where the album will be available to purchase. We chose the popular UK websites and stores such as iTunes, Amazon and HMV. The font for this is plain white as it stands out against the background which will catch the audiences eye.

Overall I am very happy with the outcome of this poster as I think it suits our target audience and also it is very eye-catching which means people will be attracted to it.
